No Procrastination...anywhere.

Three weeks into the new position and loving it. Lots of responsibility and lots of freedom. Great opportunity to excel! Grateful to be employed; grateful to be making a difference.
I spend my weekend resting and getting ready for the week ahead. Everything is prepped to run on 'auto pilot' until next weekend, when I will do it again: the house, the laundry, my clothes for the week, my commuting bag, the groceries and meals, the kids rides and after school activities...holy moses. Nothing can be left for 'handling during the week' as it simply slips through the cracks.
I imagine a day when this calms down a little, but I do not see that happening anytime soon. Although the upcoming holiday is called 'Labor Day', it an extra day off so it ought to be called 'Break Day'!
Adding more structured fitness next week in addition to walking all over Manhattan--Pilates? Hot yoga?

Be well,
Shelagh

The journey continues...

I have recently joined the commuting army in & out of Manhattan daily. After a full week with my new position, I realize that I am being asked to really live Corwellness; to find balance for myself in mind, body & spirit; to support myself with food choices that support my best me; fitness choices that work for a busy schedule...and commuting! and stress reduction on a whole new level.
So the other day, I did my 25 min. guided deep relaxation/meditation on the bus ride home. No one could tell...for all they knew, I was zoning out with my iPod. Felt really great, refreshed. Stay tuned...more to come!

Welcome to Shelagh Waters Dwyer

Health. Wellness. Well-Being. Whole Foods. Integration. Meditation. Healing.
Self-Care is not Selfish, but Self-Sustaining.

I am privileged and feel gratitude that I have the profound pleasure of talking with people everyday who are seekers---they are seeking their answers of how to support their bodies to heal; how to create the life that they desire; how to find their purpose in life. These are ordinary people who are seeking their extraordinary answers for their unique bodies; for their unique lives. I am truly honored to be a part of their journey.
